No surprises in Valencia today

«Trimming the sails well made a big difference today. In other conditions, we were able to have good speed with very fast teams, like Victory or Luna Rossa. Today we tried new trim settings for the genoas, which gave us better balance on the helm, but was a little slower in terms of speed. That is the whole difference with a big team like Mascalzone, which have 60 genoas, 8 masts etc. It allows them to test a large number of configurations and different trims. Today’s brand new headsail and a powerful mainsail was particularly optimum for today’s conditions. ».
